Nanou Peelman, who is affiliated with Laboratory of Food Microbiology and Food Preservation (LFMFP) and Research group Food chemistry and human nutrition (nutriFOODchem), submitted her PhD. The title of the dissertation is 'Characterization of barrier properties and temperature resistance of biobased plastics for food packaging, promotors are Prof. dr. ir. Peter Ragaert, Prof. dr. ir. Frank Devlieghere and Prof. dr. ir. Bruno De Meulenaer. The public defence will take place on Tuesday May 26th, 2015.
